JOB DESCRIPTION:
[Brand Strategy Definition & Execution]
Drive conjointly with global team growth strategy of brand in Korea, including communication, portfolio and innovation strategies
Identification of growth opportunities based on holistic diagnostic of brand strengths, weaknesses, consumer and market trends
Develop yearly marketing plan to deliver against identified growth opportunities (ATL & BTL communication / activations / promotions / new product development, pricing, PR etc…) and align with global team
Drives successful implementation of marketing plans, including:
- Liaison with sales dept and partner distributors
- Liaison with agencies / briefings & follow ups
- Successful activation campaigns (BTL / ATL / Digital / Data driven
precision marketing)
- Successful new product launch (pack design, launch campaign,
in-store activation etc)
Drives accurate and timely monitoring of business progresses & ROI
- Analysis of business results vs KPIs and gap filling activity suggestion
when necessary
- Analysis of ROI of traditional & digital media and of various campaigns and
on-time adjustment of budget / media allocation
- Commercial focus and awareness of sales status & KPIs
Ensure customer centricity through support on category / customer plan (ie Range Review, Category reviews) & customer acquisition in conjunction with the Trade-marketing and sales teams
[Develop Consumer & Market Intelligence jointly with Consumer Insights & Innovation Managers]
Work collaboratively with Consumer & Market Insights manager and Innovation manager to generate relevant and actionable market and consumer insights
Drives establishment of monitoring in collaboration with Innovation and CMI managers of market trends, innovations and competitor activities
Ensures that market and consumer programs are designed and executed appropriately, in collaboration with CMI manager
[Drive Successful Innovation Jointly with North Asia Innovation Manager]
Lead or support innovation / renovation projects from exploration to launch stage in strong partnership with Innovation manager and global brand team
Meet innovation targets (inno rate, profitability, time to market) in full compliance with Bel innovation process
[Manage Brand P&L]
Manages brand P&L for Korea
Optimizes timely budget allocation by activity, amount and phasing depending on brand strategy / business needs
Maximizes synergies with partner agencies and amount / level of service
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in marketing and recent experience as a brand manager or equivalent
A solid and holistic understanding of FMCG business & consumers
Fluent and independent in strategy set up, marketing strategies & tactic, project management and P&L management
In particular, skills required are:
Strategic planning
P&L management of the responsible brands
Business steering
Communication & media strategy, creative development experience
Digital marketing literacy
Package design development
Pricing strategy
Innovation / product development
Project management
Consumer insights & market research acumen
Analytical skill (quantitative/qualitative)
Agency/vendors management
bilingual in English and Korean - knowledge of French is a plus
