Our client is a global leader in manufacturing of automotive moving parts. It is headquartered in North East Asia, and is present in 10+ countries in the world, 3 subsidiary companies, 7 domestic plants, 7 overseas plants, 3 overseas sales branches and 3 research centers with 5,000 employees. Our client is indispensable, strategic partner for some of the leading vehicle manufacturers in the world.
Position Background:
Our client has a very close working relationship with one of the well-known global vehicle manufacturer and its business depends heavily on the manufacturer. Due to characteristic of the business, R&D center plays a critical role in maintaining and further developing the future business of the company. Therefore, the company has decided to bring in a R&D Director who will be in charge of Mechatronics (I/E & Mechanics) Area, hoping to further expand current business with new clients and introduce leading technical know-how and experience into the organization.
Job Description:
Responsible for Mechatronics R&D Center (Lead overall preceding technology initiatives in Hardware design & development, Software Design & Verification in Automotive Instrument/Electronics )
Manage Mechatronics R&D Center organization and personnel management
Set and manage Automotive Mechatronics technologies
Responsible for mid and long term Automotive Mechatronics strategies
Act as I/E technology point of contact for global clients
Support/manage overseas R&D Centers
Position reports to CTO
Job Requirement:
15+ years of relevant work experience from global automotive parts maker (Especially prefer the experience of Door Latch and Door Moving part)
Majored in Electronic, Electric Background
Prefer candidates with higher education than Master degree, Ph.D
Fluent English
No issues in frequent travel and working overseas
Candidates with established network into global vehicle makers
